Preparations and Planning. New song, free acoustic cd and our east coast Dragon In The Mix tour.

We've already got the gears turning on our second tour of America. The Dragon In The Mix tour. This time the east coast with dates in Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Maryland. We set sail August 12th for Eau Claire after our tour kickoff show with home field advantage in the twin cities. We'll be playing the Turf Club in St. Paul with the People Persons on August 11th and it's all the open road from there. To prepare for tour we've been holding band meeting and preparing new songs. This time on tour we will be joined by our good friend Ben Mattke as well as a new addition to the road dogs, Jerahn Rand. We're thrilled to have these guys join on this adventure as well as help us keep things cruising. We're hoping to have a new song ready and roaring for our tour kickoff show. It's us at our best and Roger's writing debut for us, words and all. We are excited to play it, and excited to hear what all of you think. We will also be handing out free CD's featuring acoustic versions of our songs, so make sure you pick one up at the show. It's been a busy month and the beginning of August only means more hard work. We've got plans in motion to make sure we have the internet in the RV, setting up more shows (18 and counting), keeping everyone in the loop (via this blog, facebook, and just through contact with our good friends, and everyone that we may run into along the way). We're getting our new home ready which is a lot of scrubbing down the RV from last tour and making sure everything is in beautiful sturdy, working condition. This time we're going to try and get a dvd player up and running even though we probably won't ever use it. We're also bringing a few bikes to keep us fit and happy, and hell they might come in handy for beer runs! We've been printing flyers and buffing out all the kinks; from creating blogs to signing up to twitter. This is a very exciting time for us and this tour will only bring good news for us. Can't wait to see you guys on the 11th for our big tour send off, and we'll be happy to see your beautiful faces September 3rd when we return home to the twin cities.
